On November 19th, my grandson, Clayton, and my “extended” grandson, Casey, all got into the car and promptly arrived at the site of the Regal Hollywood 16 theater, located at 2801 S.W. 27th Avenue, Ocala, Fl. We had already purchased our tickets online, so all we had to do was go inside to the desk. As we entered into the theater, the smell of fresh popcorn assaulted our noses! YUM! YUM! Everyone loves popcorn at the movies! SHAME ON THEM for tempting us like that! Ha! Ha! Lucky for us, we had just finished eating lunch! We went to the 12:50 pm matinee. The gentleman that took our tickets was very friendly, and greeted us with a smile, an told us which one of the 16 theaters we were to go to and where it was. He told us to enjoy the movie. As you might have guessed. we went to see the premiere showing og the “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows: part 1″. Read more about that at: http://gramadonnablogs.blogspot.com/2010/11/harry-potter-and-deathly-hallows-part-1.html. We walked to theater #9 and went in. It was lite just enough to see, but not so much to interfere with the showing of the previews of up and coming attractions! It put me in mind of a runway lights as we climbed the stairs, only these lights are colored! We found our seats and sat down. The floors were clean, and the seats were comfortable, so we were all set! The seats were spaced far enough apart so you didn’t feel like a sardine! The audio was not to loud either, but yet you could hear what was being said! The show was 2hr and 27 min. long. There are a number of show times, so I’m sure you can find a time that suits you. If you can’t find the times online, or the newspaper, call the theater at: 352-861-2695. We saw a lot of good previews of many coming attractions. One was “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader 3D, PG. Opens Friday, December 10. 2010 and looks good. When the show was over, we made a stop at the concession stand. We didn’t want to miss any of the show to get anything before it started because we were running late! All of the Hollywood’s employees that we had encountered were polite and presented themselves very professional. Oh, what a Terrific Christmas, birthday, or just because GIFT a couple of movie theater tickets would make for someone! Why don’t you put them on your Christmas list? We had a GREAT time and I am looking forward to my next visit!
