We had some friends in town on Saturday and made a last minute decision to eat at Sams St. Johns Seafood and I must say it was a very rewarding decision!

Pat had broccoli as a side with her twin Lobster tails and WOW they were very generous with the portions!
I too had the twin lobster tail mean at $19.99 I did get all this plus applesauce:

I personally am not a fan of hush-puppies but OMGosh these puppies were to die for! The flavor was amazingly good! The shrimp and Lobster were cooked to perfection! The corn had a delightful sweet taste and the baked potato was perfect as well!
My husband had catfish:

He as very pleased with the flavor of the fish and he especially loved the light batter!

The staff was fantastic! We were told that the hush puppies were made from scratch and most of the food is homemade from special recipes. They also have a senior menu and offer specials each day including carry-out!
I sincerely cannot wait to return for another meal!

We may have to make another trip up to Ocala to see you all. Man, that was the BEST!
I have not been there for a while but my husband and I used to eat there often. The food is real fresh and the people very nice.Looking at the food made me want to pay them a visit.
