It always makes me smile to spot a Girl Scout! I grew up as a GS and then a leader for nine years I know first hand the love and dedication that goes into Girl Scouting!
Girl Scouts of West Central Florida had a lovely display and I was so busy eating cookies I didn’t pick up any literature! Shame on me! But I can tell you that the cookies were fantastic! I did notice the boxes have gotten smaller over the years and yet the price has gone up! Go figure!
I highly recommend getting young girls involved with Girl Scouting! It helps with self-esteem and leadership skills! If you can’t find a dedicated leader, then sign up and become one! It will be the best volunteering of your life and an awesome way to spend quality fun times with your daughters!
