Be warned as this is not the first time but it is about the 30th time according to my husband that purchases lottery tickets on a regular basis. The Star Banner keeps giving the wrong numbers to its readers.
Example: Today, Saturday August 7, 2010 the paper states the numbers for the Mega Money drawing for last night was: 5-17-25-44- MB 3 and the Florida Lottery website states the numbers for last night are: 16-17-19-28- MB 19.
The Ocala Star banner is reporting last night’s numbers which are actually the numbers from Tuesday August 3rd, 2010!
I can only imagine how many people have lost money over the years by throwing away their lottery tickets when trusting the Star Banner to report the proper numbers.
Best policy for Ocala lottery ticket players is to only trust the Florida Lottery website to provide accurate information.
